Hollywoods 'Black List' is a list of the best unproduced scripts. The compiler, film Executive Franklin Leonard, on the Black List website describes the list as:

"a snapshot of the collective taste of the people who develop, produce, and release theatrical feature films in the Hollywood studio system and the mainstream independent system,"

It is useful list to look through in order to get a feel of upcoming trends in the US movie industry. Scripts include mash ups like 'Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter' to 'Oz the Great and Powerful' which is set to star Robert Downey Jr and be directed by Sam Raimi.
